This additional plate let’s you mount fire extinguisher further from the seat, it is important in following situations:
1. Fire extinguisher is too big (2kg+) and does not clear seat or surroundings.
2. Seat position is set too close and does not clear seat or surroundings (evident when drivers height is below 5’6)
Made from laser cut 2mm steel, CAD designed, powder coated. Compatible with many our fire extinguisher brackets.
Additional plate features thumb screws, removing the fire extinguisher and mounting portion is a breeze, without unbolting the main piece under the seat.
The additional plate has multiple holes, accommodating various fire extinguisher holders/clamps.

Our brackets are designed to be compatible with most fire extinguishers. We recommend using 2KG fire extinguishers with metal clips, that will provide proper installation and easy access if needed. Brands to look out for may include Sparco, Lifeline, RRS, OMP and other fire extinguishers for track or race aplications. If you desire to fit bigger fire extinguisher (2.5KG or more) test fitting may be needed. Please let us know if you need special order on custom spec bracket.
Don't worry. No drilling or cutting is required. Direct fit for most fire extinguishers, LHD and RHD cars (select before purchase). Designed to bolt on OEM seat rail holes. Perfect fit on OEM seats. Please see our how to section for guidance if needed. If using bucket seats, additional testing may be needed. Contact us for any questions regarding bucket seats.
